We Cannot Wait To See Which F1 Driver Wins ‘The Netflix Cup’

It’s time! No, not for Christmas (though that is steadily creeping up on us, and we won’t judge you if you already have your F1-themed decorations up), It’s time for The Netflix Cup!  Last month, it was announced that the Formula 1 and Golf fans among us would have their worlds collide as Netflix debuts its first-ever live sports event, featuring four drivers and four golfers bidding to win The Netflix Cup. The “stars” of two hit Netflix series, Drive To Survive and Full Swing, have paired up to play a golf tournament at the Wynn Golf Club in Las Vegas to kick off the inaugural Las Vegas GP. We can’t wait to watch, and we want you to enjoy it too – so here is everything you need to know about the event! THE PAIRINGS – Lando Norris will be partnering with Rickie Fowler (which he let slip at the Brazilian GP press conference, oops!) – Carlos Sainz will join forces with Justin Thomas (which he was asked about but did not let slip in the same conference) – Pierre Gasly will pair up with Collin Morikawa – Alex Albon will partner with Max HomaHOW TO WATCH Ahh, the most important question! If you want to catch all of the action, the Netflix Cup will be broadcast live globally on Netflix on Tuesday, November 14 and will start at 3pm PT (11pm GMT). If it’s a bit early or late for you in your timezone, don’t worry, it will also be available on Netflix once the event has concluded to watch at a time that suits you! And, if you join the live stream a bit late, you can either start where the live coverage continues or restart from the beginning! SO, WHAT IS ACTUALLY HAPPENING? Golf! Each team will play eight holes of match play, though there are some surprise challenges along the way! Each match will be a scramble, with each player teeing off on each hole. The team with the lowest score will win the hole. Lando and Rickie will be taking on Carlos and Justin in match one, while Alex and Max compete against Pierre and Collin in match two. Will you be watching? Let us know in the comments!
