Pierre Gasly’s Brazilian GP Helmet Has A Very Wholesome Message On It

Here at WTF1, we love it when drivers have special one-off helmets. We’ve seen many throughout our time, but Pierre Gasly’s has possibly taken the top spot for being the most wholesome… EVER.  For this weekend’s Brazilian GP, many of the drivers are wearing special edition helmets – Lewis Hamilton has one with a beautiful tribute to Ayrton Senna, and Esteban Ocon’s is bright, colourful and represents the absolute essence of Brazil. Pierre Gasly’s is designed by his friends. Well, we say designed, it’s sparkling in black and white, with heartwarming messages from his friends written around the entire thing. But what makes it even more special is that one of his friends wrote a message asking if Pierre would be the Godfather of Baby Marceau – so cute! ???? He wrote on Instagram: “Special design from my best friends. “Joked about it during the summer break, and there it is. Can’t describe how happy I am to discover I’m gonna be a Godfather for the first time!” with lovely photos of him reading it for the first time. Team Gasly wrote underneath: “He said yes!” What a beautiful way to ask! ????
