SORRRYYYYY, WHAT? If you’re a Formula 1 and golf fan, man, do we have some good news for you! Watch live as Netflix debuts its first-ever live sports event, featuring four drivers and four golfers, bidding to win The Netflix Cup!  The “stars” of two Netflix series, Drive To Survive and Full Swing, will pair up in a match play tournament at Wynn Golf Club at Wynn Las Vegas to kick off the week of the inaugural Las Vegas GP. But which drivers and golfers are currently on the list to take part? Well… *ANNOUNCEMENT VOICE* From Formula 1, we have Alex Albon, Pierre Gasly, Lando Norris and Carlos Sainz. And from the PGA Tour, we have Rickie Fowler, Max Homa, Collin Morikawa and Justin Thomas. In a clash of wheels and irons, four pairs consisting of one driver and one golfer will play an eight-hole match, with the top two teams advancing to the final hole, where they will battle for the chance to win the first-ever Netflix Cup title. The first-of-its-kind live event aims to showcase two of Netflix’s most popular sports docuseries. Drive To Survive is currently in production with its sixth season as the sport’s popularity continues to rise. Full Swing, new in 2023, is finishing the filming of its second season and PGA has credited Netflix for its rise in fan engagement. As F1 fans, we’re sure you know how much the four drivers involved love golf. Lando and Carlos often play against each other, Pierre has dabbled his way into it throughout the season, and Alex’s girlfriend, Lily Muni He, is a professional golfer – we’re sure he’ll have picked up some tips and tricks! Did anyone else’s two worlds just collide?
