The Mystery Behind K-Mag’s Toilet Brush Birthday Gift From Hulkenberg

In case you weren’t aware, Kevin Magnussen is celebrating his birthday this weekend, and Nico Hulkenberg has bought him a rather bizarre gift. We promise this will all make sense eventually. K-Mag is celebrating his 31st birthday in the Haas garage as he prepares to participate in this weekend’s Qatar GP. Earlier today, the team shared a wholesome video of everyone singing Happy Birthday to Kevin, as team boss Guenther Steiner and Magnussen’s teammate Nico Hulkenberg carried in a cake and a vase of flowers. How sweet. But that isn’t all the gifts he’ll receive. During the Qatar GP press conference, Nico confirmed there were more “personal” presents coming Magnussen’s way later this afternoon, and when pressed on what the gift was, he announced it was… a toilet brush. He didn’t want to elaborate on the inside joke between himself and Kevin, and we were quite thankful. But later on he was asked again – why a toilet brush? He replied, laughing: “All I can really say is that in the European season, the driver rooms are at the back of the trucks, and we shared a toilet and a shower and stuff. “That’s all I can really say.” ????
