Lewis Hamilton Doesn’t Want To See ANY Team Dominate F1, Not Even Mercedes

The seven-time World Champion, Lewis Hamilton, claims that he doesn’t want to see ANY team dominate the sport – not even Mercedes. Interesting. ???? It seems the jury is still out on whether the regulation changes have actually worked, while many fans would argue it did its job by knocking Mercedes off its thrown, a new team was crowned, and we’re now on our way to seeing Red Bull win every single race this season ???? In the Monza press conference, Lewis Hamilton was asked his thoughts on F1 changing the rules to slow down dominant teams – something we’ve seen a lot through F1’s history. The cycle of F1, if it were. He said: “From a racing fan, we want to see all of us a lot closer, I think actually what you’re seeing behind the Red Bulls, we’re seeing quite a good championship this year, between the Ferrari’s, Astons, and all the teams are looking a lot closer than ever before.  “In some ways, the rule change has worked, but in others, there’s still some work that needs to be done. “You know, if you look at some of the teams, we’re all capped, but some teams don’t have the same resources in terms of a windtunnel, stuff that’s at the factory that the bigger teams had because they had loads of money to throw at it a long, long time ago and they can’t catch up now.  “There’s always work to do, but I think the sport has done a great job, and I do hope for the fans and the future we don’t see Mercedes dominate for 10 years or Ferrari dominate for 10 years or any other team, because I don’t think that’s in the best interest of what us drivers want or what the fans want or what the teams want.
